Carrying up to eight people at once, you’ll need to work as a team to steer and propel this giant paddleboard through the water, exploring beaches and coves as you go. A session on our Mega SUP is a brilliant way to bond with friends and loved ones while exploring this gorgeous stretch of South Devon coast. Setting out from North Sands Beach, we’ll show you the ropes before setting you off on your journey. Work together to move your Mega SUP through the water, discovering giant caves, Salcombe’s historic castle and a few spots to try out some coasteering along the way.

Amazing fun, an exciting adventure and brilliantly led by our friendly instructors, this giant paddleboard experience is the perfect group activity.

What is a Mega SUP?

Mega SUP is basically a giant stand-up paddleboard that’s big enough to carry up to 8 people at once. Great for playing games, exploring, riding surf and working as a team, our oversized SUPs are endless fun.

How to find us

The location

The meeting point for our Salcombe Mega SUP experience is the car park at North Sands. A member of the Adventure South team will be waiting on the right hand side of the car park entrance as you drive in.

The car park is pay and display and can get very busy during the summer, so if you are staying in Salcombe we recommend walking to North Sands, or use the Park ’n Ride service opposite Salcombe petrol station if driving in from out of town. If you have to drive please try to arrive 10 minutes early with the items you need.

Your Salcombe Giant SUP questions answered

We’d love to be able to guarantee the weather, but unfortunately, we can’t. As adventure providers we are constantly monitoring the weather conditions and sea states in order to deliver the most professional and safe trip possible. If it looks like the weather is against us on the day, we’ll let you know a day or two in advance. If on the day we have to cancel due to bad weather, we offer a full refund or the chance to reschedule. But hopefully the sun will always shine!

We can take care of any valuables for you, storing them securely in our van at the start of the adventure.

Yes, of course as long as it has long arms and legs.

Sure! We’ll make sure everyone stays safe and has a good time. We’ll keep you in the shallower water and teach you everything you need to know.
